Our Vision:
To influence governmental policies, programs and regulations to improve the business community in American Canyon.
Our Strategy:
Review proposed Local, State and/or Federal legislation, regulations and ordinances and take positions when appropriate. Develop working relationships with Local, State and Federal lawmakers and their staff. Research and advocate for new or revised programs or legislation to assist local businesses. Educate business and the community through results of questionnaires, public forums, etc. regarding political candidates and their effect on American Canyon.

dealing with eminent domain and limits on government authority (constitutional amendment). After discussion and arguments for and against, the Board of Directors for American Canyon Chamber of Commerce and the GAC recommends Oppose 98, and Support 99. |

dealing with growth in Napa County. After discussion and arguments for and against, the Board of Directors for American Canyon Chamber of Commerce and the GAC recommends No Position stating that "The chamber supports the intent of the measure but cannot support a poorly drafted document". Also a special note that the decision is based solely on Measure N without consideration of the Napa Pipe project. |
