Programs that Make an Impact

Kids Commerce
Entering its 4th year, the American Canyon Chamber's award-winning Youth Entrepreneur Program provides a one-of-a-kind platform where young professionals gain real-world experience, including obtaining a business license and all necessary state, county, and city permits, to operate and sell their products at Meet Me In The Street. The Western Association of Chamber Executives (W.A.C.E.) recognized this successful training initiative with an Outstanding Program Award.

NextGEN Business Initiative
High School Business Challenge: We power an 8-week mock business program with the ACHS 12th-grade Economics class, challenging students to develop businesses missing from our community. The program culminates in an intense "Shark Tank" style pitch to a panel of local business and development experts, with top teams awarded a financial incentive.

Workforce Readiness Program
The American Canyon Chamber Foundation is dramatically accelerating local job readiness by pairing high school students directly with business leaders for intensive training in resume mastery and interview excellence. This dynamic program culminates in a focused on-campus job fair, creating immediate opportunities for our newly skilled youth to connect with employers and launch their professional careers.
